with warmer weather coming, it seems that there's a lot of opportunity and positivity in the air... i love it. spring always feels like a fresh start to things, whether it's taking on something new or revisiting something from the past. life always seems a lot more doable.
i won't deem it as the ACTUAL first nice day of 2026, but we got something close to it. it was so nice out the other day. i was honestly upset i had to go into work because i would've just loved to spend the day out. it's the first time in months i was able to go to the pier on my break without feeling like i would freeze to death. it was lovely, looking out at the water and all the people outside. i listened to elliott smith basically the whole time... i've been on a kick of listening to his music, i always am, it just seems like a little extra lately. i'm excited for that actual first nice day though. i think it'll come next week, if the weather forecast holds true.
to be honest, i have a lot i want to talk about on here, but i'll hold the thoughts for now. i don't want to make this "yay march" entry become crazy (lol). it's nice though, wanting to ramble for no reason.. i've mentioned it before, but usually, unless my emotions are overwhelming, i struggle with what to say here. maybe my habits, or mindset, are also changing with the seasons.
